Plants, Pinot & Potions

Plants, Pinot and Potions is the kickoff event to the Planted 3 series, which is a celebration of vegan and vegetarian cuisine and is hosted by WinSport and executive chef Liana Robberecht.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample amazing dishes from chef stations representing 20 of Calgary’s finest restaurants. VIP tickets provide access starting at 6 p.m. and include a sneak peek of the chef's creations, a welcoming cocktail and canapes. The doors open to general admission guests starting at 7 p.m.

While we encourage mingling, informal seating is available.

Guests will meet chefs and taste inventive plant-based dishes from the participating restaurants while enjoying wine and cocktail sampling throughout this interactive evening. While the chefs will be impressing your taste buds with their creativity and genius, they will also be vying for the “Best in Taste” trophy, which is a new competition added to the Planted Series. Celebrity judges will be roaming the room finding the most palate-pleasing dish.

This event was created out of the desire to raise awareness of the beauty of vegan & vegetarian cuisine while highlighting the creative culinary teams behind the flavours that pair magically with pinot and cocktails.

Our silent auction this year will be the best with proceeds going to Starlight Children's Foundation. Items from participating restaurants, wine baskets and pampering experiences will be available. Watch our Facebook page for item updates!
